His professional career in real estate and finance began in 2007. He has a successful track-record in preparation, structuring and execution of property & share transactions across the world (i.a. Germany, India, Spain, Turkey, China, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Croatia, Egypt, Hungary, Romania, Portugal, Austria, Pakistan, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, France, the Netherlands). Florian heads up the Frankfurt office team and leads Verdion’s investment activity in Germany. A member of the Investment Committee, he is responsible for sourcing and executing Verdion’s value-add investment strategy and the urban logistics development programme. He is regularly called on to speak to the industry about our focus on brownfield regeneration. Joining Verdion in 2020 from DEKA, where he was Senior Investment Manager, Florian has over 18 years’ high-level experience in the German logistics real estate market with previous senior roles at Catella and CBRE.

Philipp Braunfels is the Chief Operating Officer of Jamestown Europe and Managing Director of Jamestown Latin America. Upon joining Jamestown, he worked across different departments in Germany, the U.S. and spent six years building and leading Jamestown's Latin America investment platform out of Bogota, Colombia. Thomas was a member of the supervisory board for GSW Immobilien, a Cerberus investment that completed its IPO in 2011.
