Nicola Barbiero has been serving as CFO of Solidarietà Veneto pension fund since 2016. During this period, he and his team have developed the private equity investments program, which was the first time for an Italian Pension Fund. In addition to that, in 2018, Nicola’s team started to review the strategical asset allocation of Solidarietà Veneto considering other types of asset classes, which had not been considered before. Prior to his experience at Solidarietà Veneto, Nicola served as Head of Back Office for alternative funds in Previnet, which is a renown provider of administrative services for institutional investors. Nicola holds a degree in economy and finance from Ca’ Foscari (University of Venice).

Mauro Montagner is CEO and General Manager at Edizione Property SpA. In his role, Mauro is responsible for the investment program of Edizione Property globally, as well as for the management of a €1.6 bil portfolio distributed in 16 countries. Before joining Edizione in January 2018, Mauro was CEO at Allianz RE Southern Europe, and member of the Allianz RE Executive Committee & Investment Committee. Previously, Mauro was MD at Morgan Stanley, where he served as Country Head for the RE investment activity in Italy as well as portfolio manager for a large pan-european RE fund. Prior to that, Mauro was Director at London-based Curzon Global Partners, where he was responsible for the acquisition and asset management operations in Italy.

Donato Saponara is a Managing Director in the Allianz Real Estate and the Head of Transaction and Asset Management. Since joining Allianz Mr Saponara has been responsible for more than 1.3bn of sales and acquisition transactions and around €600m of re-positioning projects. He is managing a multi-billion portfolio including all asset classes (office retail residential hospitality). Prior to joining Allianz Mr Saponara spent 14 year in Morgan Stanley acting as an Executive Director Co-heading the Italian Investing team leading more than 1bn of acquisition and € 5bn of assets sale/refinancing deals. Cyril Courbage joined as a Managing Director of the Credit and Real Estate Funds in the London office in February of 2012. Mr. Courbage is responsible for debt and equity investing across the Credit and Real Estate Funds in Europe. Prior to joining Fortress in February 2012, Mr. Courbage spent 10 years at Deutsche Bank in London where he was the European head of the Commercial Real Estate group, an activity encompassing financing and special situation principal investments. He is also responsible for Italian investment advisory and strategic asset management, working with leading European developers and sector specialists of the market. Mario previously worked at Aedes Spa, an asset and fund management company leader in the Italian real estate market, where he was responsible for the management of a retail portfolio of 13 assets and the analysis and evaluation of investment opportunities. Mario has a degree in Economics from the University of Piacenza.

Sandro Campora is the Country Manager and COO for the Italian office, which services a number of different fund clients and currently manages a real estate portfolio of around €1.6 bln. In his role, Sandro is responsible for investment sourcing and strategic transactional advice, investors relationship, asset management overview and coordination of local business activities. Sandro joined CBRE Global Investors Italy (then ING Real Estate Investment Management Italy) in 2006. Prior experiences include being CFO at Lloyd’s of London in Milan and Head of Administration at Directa SIM. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Turin and in Political science from the University of Triste.

Fulvia is a Senior Director at GRI, with direct responsibility to lead GRI’s activities in Italy, and the GRI Hospitality Club on a Pan-European level. She joined GRI in 2014 to launch the GRI business in Italy while helping to strengthen GRI’s portfolio in Sub Saharan African markets. She has over 18 years of experience in b2b event production and brand marketing. Prior to joining GRI, she was Director at Fiera Milano Media for many years, and brand consultant for Italian start-ups in London. Fulvia is Executive MBA from MIP Politecnico di Milano (2012) and M.Sc. in Business & Corporate Communications, University of Siena, Italy.
