Biography

As Executive Director Real Estate Debt at Empira Asset Management GmbH, Rahim Bavandi is primarily responsible for deal sourcing in real estate debt funds. He has many years of experience in financing large-volume real estate investments and developments in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland and CEE countries. He previously held positions at Accentro Real Estate and Hypo NOE Group, among other companies. Rahim is a graduate of the International Real Estate Business School (IREBS) in Regensburg and a member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). At Empira, he is chiefly responsible for successfully developing and expanding debt sales as well as for acquiring and structuring debt engagements in all German speaking region.
