Cristina is the General Manager of Hispania and heads up Corporate Development for Azora Group. She is also Board Member of Evo Banco (Spanish commercial bank) and President of Plan Internacional España. Prior to joining the Azora Group in 2011, she worked for 16 years in the investment-banking sector at both Merrill Lynch and JP Morgan. She started her career in investment banking at J.P. Morgan, where she held various positions in M&A for four years and during ten years as Managing Director responsible for Corporate Equity Derivatives for EMEA. Her last two years took place at Merrill Lynch where, in addition to continuing to lead Corporate Equity Derivatives, she also was responsible for Equity Capital Markets for Spain and Portugal.

Miguel Pereda has over 25 years experience in the real estate sector. Currently he is CEO and member of the executive board of Grupo Lar, a RE company with vast experience in the sector that operates in Europe and Latam. He also is Director of Lar España Real Estate which in March'14 was the 1st REIT to be floated in Spain. Earlier in his career in RE, Miguel Pereda held for 6 years the position of CEO of Grupo Lar Grosvenor. He holds a degree in Economics and Business Studies from the UCM, a Master’s Degree in Tax Consultancy from ICADE and an MBA from the IE, the Breakthrough Program for Senior Executives taught by the IMD and a RE program at HBS. He received in 2015 the Fellow designation, as an Eminent Member by RICS.

Rafael Aviles is currently Senior Advisor for AML where he started as MD for Iberia July 2013 upon AREA Property Partners’ merger into Ares. Both at Ares, and previously at AREA since 2010, he has had the responsibility for the Iberian business. He has over 30 years experience in real estate, including investment and development of commercial and residential property. Mr. Aviles studied Naval Architecture and Engineering at Madrid University and has a degree from IE in Madrid. He was a Director and then MD for Grosvenor Spain and a Director of Grosvenor Continental Europe from 2002 to 2010. Before Grosvenor, he had been investment partner at JLL and MD at Procisa and Hammerson Spain during the 90’s.

David Brush has over 30 years’ experience as a real estate professional. He started his career at Philadelphia National Bank in 1983 and moved to Bankers Trust (now part of Deutsche Bank) as a Vice President in 1987. During his 20-year tenure at Bankers Trust/Deutsche Bank Real Estate, Mr. Brush founded the Real Estate Opportunistic investing division, where he was a Global Head and CIO of the business for 13 years. During that time, he supervised the completion of over 150 transactions consisting of real estate acquisitions, equity investments, corporate recapitalisations and distressed loan portfolio acquisitions with an enterprise value in excess of $50,000 million.

As Head of Asset Management at Sonae Sierra in Spain since July 2015, Alexandre Pessegueiro is in charge of the management of the group's assets in the country. Pessegueiro has almost 20 years' experience in the real estate sector working for Sonae Sierra since 2000. From 2004 to 2007 he was a coordinator of financial services and was subsequently named coordinator of the Treasury Management and Pan-European Shared Service Department. Before taking on his current position, he was Asset Manager of Sonae Sierra in Spain where he was evolved in several acquisitions, dispositions and joint venture agreements of real estate schemes. Alexandre Pessegueiro has a degree in Business Administration from the School of Economics.

Under Andrés' leadership, OHL Desarrollos is developing Ciudad Mayakoba, consisting of 408 hectares for multi-segment RE. Through OHL Desarrollos, he is co-investor and developer of the Canalejas Project, one of the largest hotel and RE projects in Spain. The project covers over 70,000sqm, which will be transformed into the first Four Seasons hotel in Spain, 30 branded residences, an exclusive shopping centre and car park. In addition, in December 2015 OHL Desarrollos acquired, in consortium with co-investor, the 250-year leasehold of the Old War Office, 57 Whitehall in London, former Ministry of War of Great Britain during the I and II World War. The asset will be re-developed into a high-end international hotel with branded residences.
