Dr. Andreas Nölke is Professor of Political Science at Goethe University and Research Fellow at the Leibniz Institute for Financial Research SAFE. Previously, he taught in Konstanz, Leipzig, Amsterdam & Utrecht. He served as consultant in the field of development cooperation, mainly for the GIZ, but also for the EU Commission and World Bank. His main research areas are at the intersection of Comparative and International Political Economy, including the political economy of emerging economies, political dimensions of financialization, institutions of the German export model, politics of EU economic (dis-)integration, political economy of populism and the historical development of capitalism. His most recent book is “Post-Corona Capitalism”.
