Insights on Capital from the biggest names in Real Estate Europe

In this paper, we provide an overview of the main insights from the GRI Europe conference in September 2022 which was attended by over 500 senior real estate developers, investors and lenders from all over the world.

In the midst of high inflation, a post-COVID landscape and the general volatility of the market during a global energy crisis, capital and financing were on everyone's minds and a topic of discussion at almost every meeting. There was a general trend of negative outlooks due to a lack of investments and caution on the part of banks but noted growth on the part of alternative investors.
