Biography
Adrian Otero is EVP & CEO to Scotiabank Mexico and Vice Chairman of the Mexican Bankers Association.

He become CEO of Scotiabank Mexico on June 2019. Prior to joining Scotiabank, he worked for BBVA
Bancomer as Head of Wholesale Banking and Investment Banking and member of the Executive
Committee. In this role he was responsible for managing Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking,
Government Coverage, Real Estate and Consumer Finance businesses. Mr. Otero also was the Head of
Investment Banking, providing strategic and financial advisory to local and international companies.
