Mr. Martinez is an MD in Barclays Mexico City Office. Prior to relocating to Mexico in 2018, he had led Barclays´ Oil&Gas team in Asia, based in Hong Kong. He has 19 years of Banking experience, having started his career at Lehman Brothers in 2000. In 2005, he transferred with Lehman to Hong Kong to build a Natural Resources Asian practice. After the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers, he worked for UBS for four years, HSBC for three years and joined Barclays in 2015. Mr Martinez holds an MBA with Honors from the University of Chicago – Booth School of Business, and a Bachelor in International Business from ITESM.
