Biography

Iván Zárate is the Portfolio Director Real Estate in Sura Investments. He oversees and is the responsible of all the funds based in Peru (USD 160M). Acts as an Investment commitee member of the Regional Real Estate Platform that manages +USD600 MM in MX, Colombia, Chile and Peru. Mr. Zarate has over 15 years of proffesional experience. He previously acted as the Head of Real Estate at Fondos SURA and Seguros SURA managing portfolios of over US$300MM in office, industrial, retail, housing and educational sectors. Mr. Zarate holds an Master’s in Business Administration from IE (Spain) and has an Industrial Engineer degree (UNI-Peru). Holds the MIT (Real Estate) certificate. CAIA Charteholder and CFA level 1 approved.
