Biography
Philippe Serres joined Proparco in 2013, first as a Senior Investment Officer in the private equity division, and from 2016 to 2020 as Regional Director for South Asia, based in New Delhi. Since August 2020 he is Regional Director for South America, based in Sao Paulo. Prior to that Philippe worked at the European Commission Delegation in Peru, at the microfinance rating agency Planet Rating, and as an Investment Officer in the microfinance team of AFD. Philippe graduated from the Institute of Political Studies of Paris (Sciences-Po) and holds a Masters Degree in Development Studies from the London School of Economics.
