Biography
Marcos Ludwig advises clients investing and doing business in Brazil in various sectors and industries, with primary focus on infrastructure projects and on the firm’s China Desk. He is experienced in dealing with commercial contracts, acquisitions, joint ventures, concessions and PPPs, regulatory matters, project development, corporate governance, ethics and compliance, and other strategic matters. He holds an LL.M. from the Institute of Comparative Law of McGill University, Montreal, Canada, and is a listed arbitrator in the panel of leading institutions in Brazil (CBMA), China (CIETAC and SHIAC) and the Netherlands (CAfA/NAI). He is fluent in English, Spanish, French and German in addition to Portuguese (native language).
