Biography
Mr. Sinha has nearly 34 years of experience in Generation and Distribution sector. He has been responsible for developing and setting up Greenfield and Brownfield Power plants in India and abroad. Apart from this, he has actively contributed in bringing about huge socio-economic development and empowerment programs for youth and children in these project sites. Prior to becoming the CEO & Managing Director of The Tata Power Company Limited, he has served as the CEO&MD of Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (TPDDL). He has been on the forefront of policy advocacy for making the Power Sector, especially Power Distribution, sustainable. Mr. Sinha has been awarded for his outstanding contribution in Power Distribution Sector by Central Board.
