Biography
Mr. Grandhi is the Corporate Chairman of GMR Group overseeing Group Finance, Corporate Strategy and Commercial Property Development. He is also Member of the Group Holding Board, GMR Group. Prior he was Chairman – Airport and Chairman – Urban Infrastructure & Highways (UI&H). Under his leadership, GMR Airports became world’s 4th largest private company in the sector. He led the GMR Group’s successful bids for Hyderabad, Delhi, Istanbul, Male Airports as well as the construction for completion of Terminal 3 of Delhi Airport in record time. Mr. Grandhi was instrumental in winning several successful infrastructure bids under PPP route with the Central and State Governments. As Chairman of UI&H he managed a portfolio of ~1,200 km of Highways.
