Biography
Economista-Chefe da XP Investimentos, Caio foi secretário de Desenvolvimento da Indústria e Comércio e Diretor de Programas no Ministério da Economia entre 2019 e 2020. Antes, foi Secretário Municipal da Fazenda de São Paulo de janeiro de 2017 a dezembro de 2018. No mesmo período, foi vice-presidente da Associação Brasileira de Secretários de Finanças das Capitais (ABRASF). Entre 2011 e 2016, foi associado do Itaú Unibanco e um dos responsáveis pela equipe de economistas do banco. Anteriormente, foi economista do Lloyds Asset Management, Máxima Asset Management e Gávea Investimentos. Em 2005, participou da fundação da Mauá Investimentos, da qual foi sócio e economista chefe até 2010, entre outros.
