Biography:
Jean-Philippe Olgiati, Managing Director EMEA, is a member of the Real Estate team at BlackRock. He is responsible for acquisitions, financing and asset and development management for the different real estate opportunities sourced in France, Nordics, Germany, UK and Italy as well as assets already under management for BlackRock. Prior to joining MGPA, Mr. Olgiati worked for Bouygues Construction, where he led a development team focusing on refurbishment of the Greater Paris region and managed feasibility studies worth more than €1 billion on behalf of opportunistic funds for acquisition with potential redevelopment. Mr. Olgiati earned a MS degree in engineering from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers (ENSAM) in 2003.

In addition, he has a Master of Econometrics and a Licence in law. He began his career in 2001 at Crédit Agricole CIB as Credit Analyst focusing on European corporates. In 2003, he joined the Basel 2 team in charge of methodology on corporates. From 2006 to 2016, he worked in the Real Estate Structured Finance Dept. of Credit Agricole CIB where he covered corporates, REITs and real estate asset managers.
