Presidents of Paladin and Camacol to speak at Colombia GRI

Jim Worms (Paladin) and Sandra Forero Ramírez (Camacol) will discuss the investment scenario and Land Destination Plan.

Two big names were chosen and have been confirmed as keynote speakers of Colombia GRI 2019, which is scheduled for October 16 and 17, in Bogota. They are Jim Worms, CEO and president of Paladin Realty Partners, who will analyze the investment landscape on the local real estate market, taking into account economic projections; and Sandra Forero Ramírez, president of the Colombian Chamber of Construction (Camacol), who will address how the Land Destination Plan (LDP - Plan de Ordenamiento Territorial/POT, in spanish), created to guide space occupation in Colombian cities, will impact the industry.
 
Another program highlight is a master session aimed at discussing opportunities, challenges, and strategies for investments in the country, bringing together major investors. Alejandro Krell (Paladin Realty Partners), Andrés Alvarado (Sura Asset Management), Andrés Escobar (TC Latin America Partners), Anuar Pérez (Compass Group), Eduardo Romero (BTG Pactual), Ernesto Carrasco (Credicorp Capital - Colombia), Hernando Forero (Grupo Pegasus), Jean Pierre Serani (Grupo Bancolombia), Josef Preschel (Peninsula Investment Group), Juliana Gómez (Procolombia) and Philipp Braunfels (Jamestown) will attend.

Throughout the day, the meeting will feature several simultaneous discussion rooms focused on the reality and future of the real estate market and its main segments, including residential, offices, industrial & logistics, hotels and shopping malls, and retail. Other topics on the agenda are consumer trends, new real estate business models, and the impact of disruptive technologies on the market. All this in an informal environment, conducive to networking.
