GRI Club meets with Scotiabank economist in Lima

The meeting with Pablo Nano was at Sura’s auditorium and discussed Peru’s economic scenario and real estate market.

On July 12, GRI Club Real Estate hosted a club meeting at Sura's auditorium, in Lima, to talk to Scotiabank’s chief of Economic Studies, Pablo Nano. The focus was on issues such as informal construction on the Peruvian market, access to end-consumer mortgage loans, the interest of international investors in local projects and changes in the retail industry. About 40 club members attended.
 
Nano analyzed the economic situation in the country, presented growth forecasts, and talked about variations in real estate asset occupation rates according to the target consumer’s buying power. He also addressed the pivotal role banks play in boosting Peru’s real estate business.
 
The meeting was attended by Iván Zárate (Sura), Fernando Ibárcena (Pionero), Paola Galli (Credicorp), Rolando Ponce (Viva Graña y Montero), Miguel Deustua (Granadero), and José Antonio Contreras (Open Plaza - Falabella), among others.
