In its 3rd edition, one of Infra Mexico GRI highlights will be discussions focused on new infrastructure projects in the country, as well as national and regional opportunities in segments such as ports, airports, and highways. The event is scheduled for September 25 and 26, at the JW Marriott Hotel Mexico City, in Mexico City.

During the opening panel, three state Infrastructure secretaries will address the expansion of private participation in their portfolio projects. They are David Zamora Bueno (Jalisco), Elio Hernández Gutiérrez (Veracruz), and Tarcisio Rodríguez Martínez (Guanajuato).

Besides networking and the enabling environment for the development of new partnerships, event participants will be able to choose from several simultaneous discussion rooms on topics such as legal certainty, compliance, investments in renewable energy, the evolution of public-private partnerships (APPs, in Spanish) models, and the impacts of the recent implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for public-private contracts.

There will also be, for the first time, a debate about the Mexican gas industry. The fuels market is now part of the key themes of GRI Club Infra in Latin America.

About eighty infrastructure executives operating in Mexico and government representatives are expected to attend. Names of the likes of Agathe Vigne (Egis), Alonso García Tamés (CDPQ Capital Mexico), Aquilino Espejo (Sacyr), Carlos Redondo Rincón (Roadis Mexico), Jaime Perez de Laborda (Balam Fund), José Maria Zertuche (BlackRock Real Assets), Laurie Fitzmaurice (EDF Renewables) and Manuel Rodriguez Arregui (Ainda Energía & Infraestructura) have already been confirmed.
