Biography
Jochen has been active in hotel real estate in senior positions as a hotel developer, investment banker, and hotel real estate fund and asset management. He has been involved in transactions over €6 billion, including the successful sale of an 11-hotel portfolio for €545 million to AXA in late 2019. He was awarded the Hotel Portfolio Manager of the year award in 2020 by the Hotel Asset Management Association. In 2022, he co-founded IREMIS, a Luxembourg-based real estate investment management firm, where he serves as co-chairman and 50/50% shareholder alongside Jos Short. In mid 2023 they reached 1st Closing of the IREMIS Hotel Real Estate Fund I.
