Werneck is FUNCEF's Executive Director / Chief of Investment. Werneck holds extensive experience in the Brazilian Financial Market and also holds an International Executive MBA degree from USP, and an Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School. Prior to FUNCEF, Paulo was managing director and head of distribution and sales at Haitong Bank of Brazil and head of BESI Asset Mgmt. He was managing director at Icatu Hartford Insurance Asset Mgmt. He was CEO/CIO of asset management at ABN Amro and deputy director of International Money Market and Local Money Market at ABN Amro. He also served as senior advisor for the Brazilian Ministry of Finance and prior worked in international banks such as Rabobank, Citibank and Unibanco.
