Biography
Mathieu Lebegue has been acting since 2018 as Head for Latin America at STOA Infra & Energy, a EUR 600m infrastructure investment vehicle, funded in 2017 by two French institutional investors (French Development Agency and CDC). At STOA, Mathieu is specifically in charge of originating and structuring infrastructure investments across Latin America. Recently, Mathieu has structured STOA’s investment into Sao Paulo Line 6 metro project (Brazil), the largest PPP across Latin America.
Mathieu started his career in 2008 at Proparco, the French DFI, holding various positions within the institution, including Deputy Head for Brazil and South America between 2014 and 2018 (where he was in charge of infrastructure financing).
STOA
STOA is a 600M€ infrastructure investment vehicle combining the strengths of its two shareholders: the track record of the Caisse des Dépôts in infrastructure investment and the strong presence of the French Development Agency in emerging markets.
