Formado em Engenharia Mecânica-Aeronáutica pelo ITA - Instituto Tecnológico da Aeronáutica. Tem pós MBA em Gestão da Inovação pelo Insper e especialização no Institut Européen D'administration Des Affaires - INSEAD na França. Trabalhou por 8 anos na consultoria alemã Roland Berger, onde foi responsável pela coordenação e execução de vários projetos em empresas dos setores de energia, telecomunicações, automotivo, bancário, entre outras. Fernando Mano trabalhou por 2 anos como Diretor de Planejamento Estratégico da Vivo. Neste período, ele coordenou a elaboração e implementação do Plano Estratégico do Grupo, bem como seu desdobramento para toda a Organização.
