Ingeniero industrial de la Universidad Industrial de Santander con estudios en negocios internacionales y banca de inversión en la NYU y finanzas corporativos en el Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey, con más de 25 años de experiencia en el sector energético, dentro de los cuales se destaca el haberse desempeñado en dirección de empresas, gerente general de Contugas, Vicepresidente Comercial de TGI, miembro de junta directiva de compañías como Calidda, Gasoriente, Metrogas y Transoriente, participación en la adquisición de TGI, Transcogas, transacciones llevadas a cabo en Perú, Colombia y Estados Unidos.
