Marcelo Michaluá is a Managing Partner and CEO of RB Capital. Prior to joining RB Capital in 2002, Mr. Michaluá worked as a Senior Associate in the private equity space for Darby Overseas in Washington, D.C. Before his time at Darby, he served as the Chief Credit Officer for BTG Pactual, a leading credit and bond insurer in Brazil. Mr. Michaluá’s previous roles also include serving as a consultant in financial re-engineering at Andersen Consulting and as a senior corporate credit analyst at Citibank. Mr. Michaluá earned a business administrator and postgraduate degree in Business from Fundação Getúlio Vargas - FGV. He is a visiting lecturer at FGV and USP and has participated in several conferences as speaker in Brazil and overseas.
