Alexis Trancart is Senior Originator at Aareal Bank based in Paris, responsible for the origination and structuring of senior and junior loans secured against French real estate assets. He started his career at Pfandbriefbank in London where he held origination and underwriting positions with a pan-European focus before specialising in the French market when he moved to Paris in 2010. Alexis holds an MSc in Real Estate Investment from Cass Business School.

Benjamin Richard is heading the commercial activity of the bank in France, based in AAREAL Paris office. He is working in the Euro hub team of the bank, focusing on the origination of new business in the Euro zone in France. Since joining Aareal in 2006, Benjamin has held various positions within the bank and has worked on a wide range of financings secured against all class of assets: office, logistics, retail, residential and hotel.

A French citizen, Cédric Gabilla offers over seventeen years of experience in the real estate industry in the acquisition, asset management and portfolio management fields within large international investment companies such as Merrill Lynch and Orco Property Group, were he was asset managing more than 2 million sqm across all real estate product types. In addition to sound asset management experience Mr. Cédric Gabilla offers a solid real estate transaction background internationally. Within Kaufman & Broad, Cédric Gabilla develops and maintains relationships with French and International institutional investors in order to forward sale residential, student/senior housing, office, hostel, commercial real estate projects in France.

With over 15 years of experience in real estate transactions and management, Christel is responsible for our investment activities in France. Prior to joining TH Real Estate in 2017, Christel was responsible for acquisitions, sales, asset management and financing of the office investments of Altarea Cogedim, with a total cost of projects over €2bn. She was also responsible for transactions and financing of the retail projects of Compagnie de Phalsbourg in France. She has also managed various acquisition and repositioning of asset projects at GE Real Estate, and worked as a consultant at PwC. Christel graduated from HEC Business School and is a member of various French real estate professional associations.

Emanuele Dubini joined FREO Group in 2015 and is responsible for FREO’s activities in France, Spain and Italy. He brings 25 years of experience in the industry and was previously Managing Director for GE Capital Real Estate in France, Italy and Spain for equity and lending activity. Prior to that he was at BNP Paribas Real Estate and BNL Fondi Immobiliari heading the Capital markets team, Advisory and Consultancy in Italy. Earlier in his career he was Managing Director of Asset Management and board member of selected JVs between Pirelli Re and Morgan Stanley at Pirelli Italy.
Etienne Marcot has an extensive 30-year experience in pan-European Real Estate investment, structuring, financing and asset management. He has managed over €3bn of investments across Europe, across the whole risk spectrum and across different asset classes. His background includes executive positions in banks (Suez Group), listed and non-listed REIT managers (Gecina and La Française REIM), and independent investment & asset managers (Constructa Asset Management, STAM Europe, Alantra REIM). Etienne Marcot is a graduate of the Paris Institute of Political Science (Sciences Po).

A Polytechnique graduate and Ecole des Mines engineer, Franck Lirzin has held various positions in the French Ministry of Economy and Finance, notably in the Budget Department. His career has taken him to the private office of the French Minister for Economic Affairs, Emmanuel Macron. Previously Deputy Chief of Staff for the French Secretary of State for Industry, Digital and Innovation, Franck joined Gecina as Executive Director Residential in 2017

François Menagé is Managing Director and Founder of Balzac REIM. Balzac is a local operating partner for private equity real estate investors, focusing on the acquisition, renovation, asset/project management, and disposal of office buildings in France. Prior to establishing Balzac REIM in 2007 he was Managing Director of First Paris Properties. Under his leadership the company raised a closed-end Paris office recovery fund and advised both private and institutional clients on the acquisition, asset management and disposal of commercial real estate in France. He started his career at London & Edinburgh Trust, within the French office of the UK listed property company LET plc.
