Daniel Buaron is Chairman of First Atlantic Real Estate (FARE), re-founded by him in 2014, two years after the sale of FARE Group to the DeAgostini Group. In fact FARE Group was founded by Daniel in 1998 and was the Italian operating partner of Goldman Sachs’ Whitehall Funds until 2007. In 2005, he founded FARE SGR which became the leading Italian RE fund management firm after the merger with FIMIT SGR (2011) with over 10 billion of AuM. Prior experiences include being Founder, CEO and Vice Chairman of Tradital S.p.A. and CEO of Metropolis S.p.A.. Mr. Buaron began his career with JP Morgan. He graduated with a business degree from Università Bocconi and received his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1976.

From 1998 to 2004, Mr. Dejanovic worked for the Australian subsidiary of Cheung Kong Infrastructure Holdings Limited and Hong Kong Electric Holdings Limited in various rolls across Corporate Treasury, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting and Commercial Analysis.

Christopher Zeuner joined LaSalle in 2012 and head the CEE business. Additionally he is responsible for all acquisitions in Netherlands, Nordics, Italy and Spain, focused on driving growth in LaSalle’s business throughout Northern, Central and Southern Europe through investing LaSalle’s funds and working along-side selected strategic real estate partners. Prior to joining LaSalle, Chris was with JER Partners. LaSalle acquired the European platform of JER in 2012. Previously, Chris established GE Real Estate’s Polish office and was head of GE Real Estate's origination and business development teams in the CEE region, including Turkey, where he closed over EUR 1.5 Bn of transactions. Before GE, was head of C&W's capital markets team Poland.

Michel Vauclair is Chairman of OPG Commercial RE Europe, the Continental European platform for Oxford Properties and is responsible for actively managing Oxford’s Continental European assets to maximize capital returns, in addition to seeking new investments in liquid European markets to expand the Oxford European portfolio. Michel has four decades of experience in the financial and RE industries, focused on the banking and hotel sectors, private equity and debt restructuring. His career includes senior positions with some of the industry’s most successful key players in the concerned sectors.     He holds his MBA from the Lausanne Business School, completed by post graduates at New York University, IMD Lausanne and Cornell University.

Mr. Beltran is Managing Director of the Carlton Group for Iberia and has more than 18 years of investment banking, real estate and capital markets experience throughout Spain, Portugal and rest of Europe. Most recently, he was a Managing Director of UniCredit’s Investment Banking division and had previously worked for UBS, Morgan Stanley and Barclays Capital. Over his career, Mr. Beltran has intervened in the completion of more than $20 billion in European transactions, including a wide spectrum of equity and mezzanine investments and direct lending transactions. He holds a PDG degree from IESE Business School and graduated from CUNEF with a BD in Business Administrations & Finance.

Biography:

Henri Alster is the Chairman of the GRI. He previously worked for 25 years as a real estate investment banker, advising or partnering with the likes of Exxon, Whitehall, KLM pension funds, Forest City Enterprises and others across the USA and Europe. He also ran his own investment boutique.

Mr. Alster led Citicorp’s early real estate investment banking efforts in Europe between 1988 and 1994, closing Europe’s two largest land deals on behalf of Exxon and Pechiney.

A Columbia B-School MBA (‘74), Henri is an undergraduate Technion (Israel) Industrial Engineer (‘72). 

He is fluent in English, French, German, Dutch and Hebrew, has lived in New York, Paris, London, Brussels and Tel-Aviv and has worked and travelled extensively throughout the Americas, Asia and Europe.
