The Regions vs London - Power struggle or healthy competition?

The Regions vs London - power struggle or healthy competition?

London has long been the centre of attention in the UK real estate market and frequently dominates real estate discussions surrounding Britain for various reasons, not least due to its attractive demographics, location, and status as the principal European financial centre. However, the months approaching Brexit have seen a great deal of investment (particularly from overseas) being directed away from London and towards the regions - cities such as Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool have undergone rapid development and have arguably become very attractive destinations for developers, investors and everyday citizens alike. Club members will gather to discuss the future of the regions, examine potential opportunities, and consider whether the balance of power may finally be wrought from the sole grasp of London and shared amongst Britain’s urban centres.
