The Germany GRI club meetings are gatherings of our club members, comprising of senior international and local real estate investors, lenders and developers active in Germany.
Germany continues to be seen as an attractive safe haven for institutional capital, more than ever since Brexit. But with overwhelming interest and increasingly depressed yields, are prices becoming too high for further institutional investment?
Many institutional investors in Germany have taken advantage of the Master KVG investment structure, and are looking more and more to indirect investment vehicles as part of their strategy. This club meeting brings together local and international real estate leaders with institutional investors, to exchange views on the outlook for institutional investment in the country, preferred investment strategies, and its competitive position among other investment destinations.
Discussion will focus on:
Recent institutional transactions
Perspectives on management and structuring of KVGs and indirect investment vehicles
How far up the risk curve is institutional capital prepared to go?
How attractive is Germany compared to North America and other regions for international institutional capital?
