Frankfurt wird als die Stadt gehandelt, noch vor Paris, Amsterdam, Dublin und Luxemburg, die vom Brexit am meisten profitieren wird. Die Vorteile sind die zentrale Lage, die gute Infrastruktur und die im Vergleich zu London und Paris niedrigen Immobilienpreise. Für dieses Club Meeting haben wir Erik Menges, CEO von FrankfurtMainRhein GmbH, eingeladen um unseren Mitgliedern einen Eindruck zu geben, wie sich die Region FrankfurtRheinMain auf den Brexit vorbereitet, was wohl passieren wird und wie wir alle von der Situation profitieren werden.

Biography:

Eric Menges, born on 6 April 1967 in Frankfurt am Main, started his career with a trainee program at the Banque Transatlantique in Paris, France, followed by positions at Transfield Construction Pty. Ltd. in Australia. From 1996 on he was Head of Investment Marketing for the Australian Government (State of Victoria) in Europe. Since 2013 he is the President & CEO of FrankfurtRheinMain GmbH International Marketing of the Region. Eric Menges holds a University degree in Business Administration and is married with two children.

Danach war er sieben Jahre bei der LBBW Immobilien im Bereich Konzernentwicklung. Seit April 2006 arbeitet er für die zum französischen REIT Foncière des Régions gehörende Immeo SE. Als Vice CEO/CFO verantwortet er dabei unter anderem die Bereiche Finanzen und Personal. Immeo besitzt in Deutschland 41.000 Wohnungen und verwaltet daneben über 5.000 fremde Wohnungen sowie über 45 Hotel-Immobilien.

Frank’s career spans more than 20 years in banking of which he spent 10 years with a particular focus on commercial real estate finance, both in Germany as well as international markets. After an extended period in Corporate Finance for Bayerische Vereinsbank, he was responsible for Risk Management of Commercial Real Estate at HypoVereinsbank since 1998. In 2003 he was appointed to the board of directors at Hypo Real Estate Holding and has been responsible for Global Origination Commercial Real Estate since early 2007. In 2010 he was co-founder of Refta -Real Estate Finance and Transaction Advisory-, Grünwald. Frank Lamby holds degrees in law from the University of Freiburg and the University of Paris.
