Advisory Board Meets In Milan

The GRI Club Italy has celebrated its first meeting on 8th November gathering in Milan 14 of the main figures in the Real Estate market in Italy as members of its Advisory Board. 

The objective was to establish the strategic direction of the Club in terms of content, presence and interaction with international players. Following the Advisory Board meeting, the Advisory Board members met other GRI international and Italian member to discuss new investments opportunities for 2017.

GRI Club

Fulvia is a Senior Director at GRI, with direct responsibility to lead GRI’s activities in Italy, and the GRI Hospitality Club on a Pan-European level. She joined GRI in 2014 to launch the GRI business in Italy while helping to strengthen GRI’s portfolio in Sub Saharan African markets. She has over 18 years of experience in b2b event production and brand marketing. Prior to joining GRI, she was Director at Fiera Milano Media for many years, and brand consultant for Italian start-ups in London. Fulvia is Executive MBA from MIP Politecnico di Milano (2012) and M.Sc. in Business & Corporate Communications, University of Siena, Italy.

Prior to joining EUROSIC, Adrien BLANC worked for UBS as Head of France for its real estate division. He spent 10 years at Morgan Stanley where he took up various roles in acquisitions and asset management both in France and internationally. He was notably Director of asset management for France, Benelux and Scandinavia in 2006-2010. In the past, Adrien has held numerous board directorships positions notably for Compagnie la Lucette, Altaréa, Korian and Ogic. He began his career working for Archon (Goldman Sachs group). In 2005 he joined Prelios group as Berenice Fund manager. From 2008 to 2013 he worked as Head of Fund and Asset Management Office in Prelios SGR. From 2013 to June 2016 he held the office of Head of Fund Management in Prelios SGR, managing 26 Italian closed end real estate funds

Since July 2016 he is General Manager in Beni Stabili SpA Siiq; he is in charge of  Asset Management and Development and he oversees the Finance functions.

Daniel Buaron is Chairman of First Atlantic Real Estate (FARE), re-founded by him in 2014, two years after the sale of FARE Group to the DeAgostini Group. In fact FARE Group was founded by Daniel in 1998 and was the Italian operating partner of Goldman Sachs’ Whitehall Funds until 2007. In 2005, he founded FARE SGR which became the leading Italian RE fund management firm after the merger with FIMIT SGR (2011) with over 10 billion of AuM. Prior experiences include being Founder, CEO and Vice Chairman of Tradital S.p.A. and CEO of Metropolis S.p.A.. Mr. Buaron began his career with JP Morgan. He graduated with a business degree from Università Bocconi and received his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1976.

Filippo Delle Piane is Chief Executive Officer of HMO S.r.l and Vice President of the National ANCE Group with mandate for Construction and Territory. After receiving his University Degree in Civil Engineering in Genoa he works for many construction company in different countries. In 2006 he returns to Genoa working for Costruzioni S.p.A., where, in addition to being CEO, he covers the role of Technical Director. Since 2015, in the face of the deep changes forced by the relevant market, he decides to modify Costruzioni’s historic DNA founding, together with other partners, the company HMO, a service provider able to act as a sole interlocutor throughout the complicated development steps of important estate portfolios.

Hunt is a Managing Director in Baupost’s Private Investment Group and is based in London.  He focuses on European real estate investments and is also responsible for new joint venture partner and real estate operating partner relationships. Prior to joining Baupost, Hunt was a Managing Director at Northwood Investors. Hunt graduated from Cornell University magna cum laude with a B.A. in Economics and from Harvard Business School with an MBA.

From 1977 he is in FS Group where he has covered various roles: planning and direction work of complex railway works, direction of the armament of track and guide of industrial systems. From 2000 to 2008 he was the chief of the passenger and freight terminals of RFI, society of FS that manages the railway infrastructure. From 2009 he is Chief Executive Officer of FS Sistemi Urbani.
