Caroline McCarthy
Caroline joined Green Property REIT Ventures in September 2013 as CIO. She is responsible for Investment Management, sourcing new acquisitions, disposals and maximising opportunities that match the investment objectives of the Company. In addition, she manages the bi-annual Independent Valuation process and is part of the Sustainability Committee. Prior, she was an Executive Director and Head of the Capital Markets of CBRE in Ireland between March 2005 - Feb 2012. Prior to joining CBRE, she established the property investment team within Bank of Ireland Private Banking. She also served in a variety of roles in property investment in the UK including King Sturge and Hill Samuel Asset Management.
Josephine Allen

A Chartered Surveyor, Jo has 30 years of UK RE experience. Jo is CEO of Frogmore having joined the firm in 1994. She has been involved in the asset management and development activity for the majority of Frogmore’s transactions over the past 24 years. Jo started her career with Richard Ellis where she specialised in asset management; landlord and tenant matters; negotiating rent reviews and lease renewals, before moving to the industrial and office leasing teams Keen to promote diversity within the RE industry, Jo works actively with Pathways to Property, and supports RE Balance. Jo sits on the Fundraising Committee of Land-Aid, a charity that harnesses the property industry’s expertise to support projects working to end youth homelessness

Shamik is based in London and part of the MSREI acquisition and asset management team, working on sourcing, negotiating and managing investments for MSREI across all European jurisdictions, with additional responsibility for the UK. Before joining MSREI, Shamik was based in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, investing in roads and infrastructure in South America for a global investor. Shamik is also a chartered structural engineer. Shamik received a Masters degree in Civil Engineering from Imperial College London and an MBA in Finance with distinction from the London Business School. Shamik is a Portuguese national, and has lived and worked in Europe, South America, North America and Asia.
Jill Xiaozhou Ju

As Investment Director at The Collective, Jill is responsible for the firm’s fund raising, investment acquisitions, and strategic growth internationally. The Collective has developed the largest co-living community, a well-amenitized, fully-stabilized 546-bed asset in London, and is expanding internationally to be the best co-living provider worldwide. Prior to joining the Collective, Jill worked as Investment Director for Greystar overseeing its London student housing portfolio Chapter Living. Jill received her MBA from Harvard Business School and graduated from Peking University with a Bachelor of Economics. She was listed by Forbes as “30 Under 30” in European Finance.

Peter Cole is CIO of Hammerson and is responsible for investment and development activities. He has led Hammerson’s major regeneration projects; retail schemes in Birmingham, Southampton and Leeds and Marseille and in London, these have included Bishops Square, Bishopsgate Goods Yard and Brent Cross Cricklewood. These have been recognised as making a significant contribution to their local communities and in promoting master planning, quality design and mixed uses. Peter has also led the Company’s major acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures, including the disposal of the Company’s London offices in 2012 and reinvestment in retail assets including the €1.85bn retail portfolio transaction in Ireland in a Joint Venture with Allianz.
Mark Allnutt

Mark Allnutt is the business leader for Greystar in the UK, tasked with refining the operating platform, doubling the student living portfolio and building 10,000 multifamily units in London. He joined Greystar in 2014 to start its multifamily efforts and, under his leadership, the business has grown to include a pipeline of over 3,250 units with a value of £2.2 billion. Prior to joining Greystar, Mark was executive director of Thames Valley Housing (TVH), responsible for all land and property investments/development in London and the South East. Mark was a founding director of TVH’s PRS subsidiary, Fizzy Living. He has a wealth of experience in the leadership of multidisciplinary teams to deliver and manage residential ventures.
