Prior to Sonae Sierra, João was a consultant with McKinsey & Company and also with Arthur Andersen. João completed the INSEAD – Advanced Management Programme in 2018 and the INSEAD - International Executive Programme in 2010. He also holds an MBA from the Yale University School of Management (2002) and a BS in Management from Faculdade de Economia do Porto (1997).
João is a SVP at Round Hill Capital and has over fifteen years of experience in the real estate space. He is responsible for RHC’s activity in the Portuguese market. Prior to joining Round Hill Capital in 2018, João worked for Teixeira Duarte, where he was involved in multiple platforms, sourcing and developing over 5 million square feet of commercial, residential and mixed used opportunities in Portugal and Africa. João started his career working as a project manager, helping to bring forward a 1.5 million square feet of residential and office schemes in Lisbon. He holds a combined MSc in Civil Engineering and is a member of the Portuguese Chamber of Chartered Engineers.”

Miguel is a Board Member of Mexto Portugal S.A. as well as of the Urban Land Institute of Portugal. He joined the Banking sector, where he worked for 30 years in different national and international Banks, having in the last 18 years occupied leading positions as Director and Senior Director. During his years in Banking he was always connected to the Real Estate business. He is member of the investment committee of the group and is responsible for Mexto’s Technical Department, where he leads the Project Management Team and coordinates all matters and different technical teams related to the projects. Miguel is a founding partner and the managing partner of Accure Real Estate Investment. He works closely with limited partners relating to capital raising and new product developments. Before becoming founder of Accure, he was a Senior Fund Manager until 2015 in Novo Banco (formerly BES – biggest private bank in Portugal) with the responsibility of 22 regulated closed-end real estate investment funds for a total AUM of more than 1bn€. Miguel holds a MBA, a Master´s degree in Real Estate Finance, and a Master degree in Structural Engineering.
Nicolas Goffin joined BESIX RED in 2015 as Project Manager based in Brussels. After successfully leading and delivering several projects domestically and abroad, Nicolas was promoted to Head of Portugal in late 2018. In 2020, he moved to Lisbon where he opened the first-ever Portuguese branch of BESIX RED in downtown Lisbon. Nicolas and his team are currently heading two projects, DUUO, a residential complex of 280 apartments over two buildings at Praça de Espanha and Parque Oriente, a multi-use project with over 43,000 m2. Prior to joining BESIX RED, Nicolas served as Architect for Archi 2000 (BE) and Hamiltons Architects (UK). Nicolas Goffin holds a Master of Architecture. Paulo Barradas is a Managing Director at Norfin SGFII and heads the M&A and investor relations department. He has more than 22 years of experience in the international investment banking industry, of which the last 6 years in London as Head of M&A at Haitong Bank. Hugo is also an Advisory Board Member of SIL – the Portuguese Real Estate Exhibition and of the Portuguese Green Business Week – Smart Cities Summit. Hugo Santos Ferreira is the President of APPII – the Portuguese Association of Real Estate Developers and Investors and Director of the Portuguese Confederation of the Construction and Real Estate Sector. Hugo is also an Advisory Board Member of SIL – the Portuguese Real Estate Exhibition and of the Portuguese Green Business Week – Smart Cities Summit. Hugo has a Law Degree and a Master in Public & Administrative Law from the Portuguese Catholic University and was a Real Estate Lawyer at the Iberian law firm Cuatrecasas for almost 10 years up until 2014. He is also the author of several opinion articles and chronicles in the main magazines and newspapers in Iberia and other Southern European Countries.
João Lélis joined Sonae Sierra in 2004 as an investment analyst, later becoming Director of the Fund Management business. As member of the executive team, current responsibilities include management of the real estate funds co-owned by Sonae Sierra, of the direct investments outside Iberia and transaction support. Prior to Sonae Sierra, João was a consultant with McKinsey & Company and also with Arthur Andersen. João completed the INSEAD – Advanced Management Programme in 2018 and the INSEAD - International Executive Programme in 2010. He also holds an MBA from the Yale University School of Management (2002) and a BS in Management from Faculdade de Economia do Porto (1997).

João is a SVP at Round Hill Capital and has over fifteen years of experience in the real estate space. He is responsible for RHC’s activity in the Portuguese market. Prior to joining Round Hill Capital in 2018, João worked for Teixeira Duarte, where he was involved in multiple platforms, sourcing and developing over 5 million square feet of commercial, residential and mixed used opportunities in Portugal and Africa. João started his career working as a project manager, helping to bring forward a 1.5 million square feet of residential and office schemes in Lisbon. He holds a combined MSc in Civil Engineering and is a member of the Portuguese Chamber of Chartered Engineers.”

He has more than 22 years of experience in the international investment banking industry, of which the last 6 years in London as Head of M&A at Haitong Bank.
