Integró un conjunto de tres expertos que evaluó la eficacia del proceso de Surveillance del FMI. Es Socio Fundador del Estudio Ricardo Arriazu y Asociados, firma especializada en análisis económico nternacional y finanzas con clientes en Argentina y otros países.
Fue integrante de los Directorios de Bansud (Argentina), Banacci (México) y del International Advisory Board de Nasdaq (EEUU) y Sonae (Portugal).
Es autor de más de cuarenta libros y artículos.
