At Vinci, Mr Souza was responsible for monitoring the investment in Equatorial Energia until 2015 and has served as board member of Celpa (Centrais Eletrica do Para), Cecrisa, and is still at the board of Grupo CBO. He holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Escola Federal de Engenharia de Itajubá (EFEI) and an MBA with a major in Corporate Finance and Accounting from University of Rochester, New York (Beta Gamma Sigma award).

A 3ª edição do GRI PPPs e Concessões Brasil ocorre em março, visando reunir os principais líderes do setor privado e das diferentes esferas do poder público (União, Estados e Municípios), responsáveis pela definição da agenda de políticas e futuros projetos de infraestrutura nas cidades brasileiras.

Ao longo de todo o dia, discussões aprofundadas com autoridades públicas, investidores, concessionários e especialistas perpassarão os principais temas no âmbito municipal, como os arranjos institucionais possíveis para a viabilização das PPPs, os elementos e características fundamentais para a originação e o financiamento de bons projetos e a modelagem ideal para minimizar riscos e maximizar as garantias.

Realizada em parceria com o Banco Mundial e a Frente Nacional de Prefeitos, esta será também a principal oportunidade para se conectar com colegas do setor, conhecer novos parceiros de negócios e endereçar proposições às autoridades governamentais presentes.

Para esta edição, estão previstos:

  • Mais de 100 autoridades públicas presentes do Governo Federal e das administrações estaduais e municipais.
  • Discussões informais, sem presença da imprensa, das quais todos podem participar.
  • Mais de 200 líderes de infraestrutura, essencialmente, investidores, operadores do setor e bancos.
  • Matchmaking de participantes através do formato informal do GRI e do aplicativo exclusivo para participantes do encontro.

Marco Aurélio Barcelos is Secretary of State for Transport and Public Works of the State of Minas Gerais. Previously, he held the positions of Secretary of Articulation for Investments and Partnerships in the Investment Partnerships Program (PPI) of the Presidency of the Republic and of Legal Officer in São Paulo Business. He holds a PhD in State Law from USP, a Master's in Law (LL.M) from the University of London and a Master's in Administrative Law from UFMG. He was also a consultant for PPPs of the Getúlio Vargas Foundation and director of the PPP Unit of the State Government of Minas Gerais.

É professora adjunta do Programa de Mestrado e do Bacharelado de Ciência Política da Universidade Federal do Piauí – UFPI. Foi Secretária Executiva da Secretaria Municipal de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Turismo da Prefeitura Municipal de Teresina (2013/2017).Atualmente, é Secretária Municipal de Concessões e Parcerias do Município de Teresina (09/2017-), onde coordena projetos de PPP e concessões.

He took part in the implementation of the highway concession Rodovia Presidente Dutra (SP-RJ) from its inception until 2002 when he was appointed CCR’S New Business Officer, position he holds ultil now, responsible for the acquisition of assets and participation in the bidding for new opportunities aiming the growth of the CCR Group.

Mrs. Luciene Machado began her career at Petrobras and joined BNDES – The Brazilian Development Bank – in 1998. From 1998 to 2010, she developed a track record in the bank as an Assistant of the Foreign Trade Director and Head of Department of Export Credit Division of BNDES. During this period, she structured export credit financings, with a main focus on capital goods and infrastructure projects. In February 2010, Mrs Machado was appointed as Managing Director of the Export Credit Division of BNDES, being responsible for BNDES Export Credit Program, the BNDES-exim. As substitute Managing Director, she took part of BNDES’ Board of Directors several times on behalf of International and Export Credit Divisions.

In recent years, he has developed extensive consulting work in the modeling of concession and PPP contracts.
