Larissa Jacobson has been with QuadReal since February 2018. As Vice President, Retail Leasing, Larissa is responsible for overseeing an active leasing portfolio of 2.8 million square feet in Western Canada consisting of enclosed shopping centres, open centres and developments under construction and in the planning stages. Larissa completed her executive MBA at the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University in 2017. Larissa was formerly with Bentall Kennedy as Director of Leasing responsible for over 2 million square feet for 10 years. Larissa began her career at CB Richard Ellis in 2002.

José Pellicer joined M&G Real Estate as Head of Investment Strategy in August 2019. He is responsible for setting the investment strategy across the fund range as well as overseeing the development of new products. He has over 20 years research and investment strategy experience in the UK and Continental Europe. Prior to this, he was Global Head of Research at Patrizia AG and a partner at Rockspring PIM prior to its acquisition by Patrizia. He has also worked at Goldman Sachs in the Property Derivatives team and at AEW, where he was Head of its London research operation. Jose began his career in 2000 as a general economist at Deutsche Bank and moved into the real estate division in 2002. José holds a Masters of Real Estate Investment.

Seris Retail Holdings is backed by Calzada Capital Partners, a US-based private equity firm with over US$8.5 billion under management. Before founding Seris in 2017, Mr. Cantu was de COO for the retail development arm of Abilia and was responsible for the development of over 250,000 square meters of retail space and the successful sale of its largest retail development to Fibra Shop.

Manuel oversees Nuveen Real Estate’s retail sector platform. He is responsible for leading the company’s dedicated retail sector investment team and overseeing all retail equity acquisitions, dispositions and asset management., Previously Manuel was the head of Retail for the US, where he moved in 2016. He joined the firm in 2008 as the head of Spain and Portugal, where he opened the Madrid office and led the firm’s initial expansion into the region, including the execution of retail workouts over the GFC and large retail transactions. He was also involved in the Neptune venture, an outlet mall portfolio with leading European operator, NEINVER.
