Overview

GRI Club Real Estate is a global club of leaders from the real estate sector. It is where the leaders of the industry get together to understand and launch new trends and exchange experiences to define the strategic direction for their companies.

Through tailor made occasions, its meetings offer a unique platform for the construction and deepening of relationships, development of partnerships, and fostering business. They are also a stage for high level debates on strategic market themes, recognizing the different perspectives of the industry.

The Club is by invitation only. If you have such a profile and believe in the importance of building up special relationships for the growth of your businesses we will be happy to discuss your participation in our Club.

CRITERIA TO BECOME A CLUB MEMBER

Membership is subject to approval by a committee of peers and is reserved exclusively for senior investors, lenders and developers*.

Qualified individuals (C / Director Level) that believe they could benefit from being part of such a global community are welcome to further details.

*Some leniency is given to those outside this category up to a maximum of 10% ratio of the Club.

Kirsty has seven year’s experience in conference production globally. Her previous role included Conference Producer for RICS, fostering events in Corporate Real Estate, Residential, Industrial and Regional Investments across UK, Middle East and Europe. Kirsty is passionate about industrial and logistics, residential alternatives, distressed Investing, as well as connecting investors and developers with focused discussions in her core markets of the UK and Europe.

Biography:
Bonnie is Head of Capital Markets for ActivumSG. She has over 15 years of experience in RE including sourcing, structuring, and distributing a range of RE debt products. Prior to joining ActivumSG in September 2016, Bonnie worked at Deutsche Bank for 5 years where she held positions in syndication and origination within their European Commercial RE Group and CRE Structuring Group. Previously, she worked at Morgan Stanley as a Vice President where she was responsible for the syndication of European RE debt products, including senior loans and mezzanine tranches. She moved to London with Credit Suisse to help build their European CMBS team and began her career with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in their RE Finance and Securitisation team.

Vincent Rouget is a Partner at Aermont and a member of its Management Committee. Vincent is responsible for Continental European activities and was involved in various Aermont’s investments, including the build-up of mfi retail platform in Germany and The Student Hotel platform in Europe, in addition to property investments in France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Portugal and Benelux. Prior to joining in 2007, Vincent worked at Morgan Stanley, in Paris in the Investment Banking Division and New York in Global Capital Markets. Vincent graduated from HEC Paris with a Master of Science in Management.

Nikos is an Executive Director in the Private Equity Funds at AEW Europe. He is based out of London and is responsible for deal origination and execution in Southern Europe and CEE. Nikos has been involved in over €2bn of transactions across retail, office, logistics and residential. Prior to joining AEW in 2015, Nikos was a Director and Co-Head of Real Estate at Salamanca Group, where he executed and managed investments in residential, commercial and retail developments across CEE, Spain, UK and Brazil. Nikos started his career as an architect before joining the Real Estate team at Merrill Lynch. Nikos holds an MBA from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Architecture from RMIT.

Biography:
Managing Director of Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Global Market division, based in London. He works in the Mortgages Department focusing on the origination, structuring and heads the distribution of commercial real estate debt in Europe. During his time at Merrill Lynch, Greg worked on the mortgages sales and trading desk as well as in the Commercial Real Estate Finance group on the structuring and distribution of a wide range of CRE debt deals from traditional senior lending, opco-propco, mezzanine and hotel financings throughout Europe. Greg led landmark transactions in Europe like the €935m Coeur Defense financing in Paris for Lone Star as well as the acquisition of the €650m Jurys In Hotel group in England and Ireland.

Florent Danset is a Principal in the RE Debt Strategies Group and is based in London. Since joining Blackstone, Mr. Danset has been involved in sourcing, underwriting, negotiating and structuring RE debt investments across all asset types in the UK and Continental Europe. Prior to joining Blackstone in 2012, Mr. Danset was an Assistant Vice President at Partners Group responsible for originating, underwriting, and executing RE debt and equity transactions in Europe with positions in London, Switzerland, and San Francisco. Prior to joining Partners Group, Mr. Danset was an Analyst at ANZ Investment Bank in Singapore. Mr. Danset received an M.Sc. in Management from the ESSEC business school in Paris. Mr. Danset is a CFA charterholder.
Ignacio Fonseca

Biography:
Since 2014 Ignacio has been part of Blackstone, as member of the European Asset Management platform, leading operations in Spain and Luxembourg. Previously he spent 8 years in several projects in CBRE. Since 2010 he joined the Capital Markets team working in retail, offices and alternative asset transactions. He advised local and foreign investors in their Real Estate transactions in Spain and Cross Border locations. Between 2008 and 2010 he leaded the Moroccan consultancy team helping in the development of the firm in North Africa for 2 years. Previously, Ignacio worked in several international projects (France, Brazil and Mexico) in Consultancy and Investments for firms such as Deloitte and SAGE Finance.
