Brian is the Managing Partner of ASG Iberia Advisors which is based in Madrid and has quickly grown into one of the largest PERE advisory platforms in Spain with 12 experienced professionals and more than a dozen investments throughout Spain.
Brian worked for more than 14 years at Cerberus Capital Management. Most recently, Brian was based in Madrid as the Managing Director of Cerberus Iberia Advisors. In 2000 Brian opened and ran their Mexico City investment advisory office where he focused on acquisition and asset management of large NPL portfolios. In 2007 he moved to the Netherlands where his Cerberus responsibilities included both asset management and the acquisition of commercial and residential loans and real estate. He worked on projects in Germany, the U.K. and Spain.
Before working at Cerberus, Brian was the country head at Citibank Mexico’s Technical Services Group which managed all real estate valuation, engineering and environmental studies for Citibank Mexico’s new loan origination, NPL and workouts departments. Brian also ran Citibank Mexico’s bad bank REO sales department.
In 2006 Brian was part of the original team working for the Mexican Central Bank’s VVA and then Fobaproa bad bank divisions. He was responsible for selling the REO assets from the intervened banks. He also has worked for Cushman & Wakefield and Grupo Situr in Mexico City. Grupo Situr was the largest publicly listed owner and developer of hotels, master planned resorts, marina’s and golf courses in Mexico.
Daniel Mayans joined FREO Group in 2015 and is responsible for FREO’s Spain operations.
He brings over 18 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate and worked previously for GE Capital Real Estate for almost 9 years where he was the Head of Asset Management in Spain and managed a portfolio of €1,2bn. Before GE he worked for Metrovacesa as Portolio Manager where he also managed a portfolio of €500mm. Earlier in his career he worked for Aguirre Newman heading the Office and Retail department.
Daniel holds a law degree from the FERT University and a Masters in Executive Management from IESE Business School in Barcelona.
Dilip is Cadena's Managing Director for Spain and in this capacity responsible for all aspects of Cadena's property development and investment activities on the Iberian Peninsula, having worked in Spain for 22 years.
Prior to joining Cadena, Dilip held senior positions with US developer Hines and was previously Managing Director of Canadian investor and developer TrizecHahn Spain.
Dilip holds undergraduate and post graduate degrees in Economics and Land Economy and an Advanced Certificate in innovation, management and technology from the MIT Sloan School of Business. Dilip is a UK trained Chartered Surveyor and a member of the Urban Regeneration Council of the Urban Land Institute Europe.
Jordi Sans is General Manager of Volumetric. Member of the family owners.
Since 1999 leads real estate division of Grup Volumetric, and with his team of professionals has developed 270,000 sqm of land and built 437,000 sqm, mainly residential.
He has also managed refurbishment projects, logistics, commercial and office buildings.
In 2006 he started up partner companies in Poland, Romania and Hungary recruiting local management teams and adapting to each country the systems and working philosophy of the group. In those countries we have built 1,150 homes.
Under his management Volumetric has developed projects continuously since 2000.
Miguel Pereda has over 25 years experience in the RE sector. Currently he is MD & member of the executive board of Grupo Lar, a real estate company with vast experience in the sector that operates in Europe & Latin America. He also is Director of Lar España Real Estate which in March 2014 was the first REIT to be floated in the Spain. Earlier in his career, Miguel occupied for six years the post of CEO of Grupo Lar Grosvenor.
He holds a degree in Economics and Business Studies from the UCM, a Master’s Degree in Tax Consultancy from ICADE and an MBA from the IE, the Breakthrough Program for Senior Executives taught by the IMD and a real estate program at HBS.In 2015 He recieved the "Fellow" designation, as an "Eminent Member" from RICS.
Pedro is a Principal of H.I.G. Capital’s Real Estate team based in Madrid with responsibility for sourcing & executing RE transactions in Spain & Portugal. Pedro has over 30 years’ experience in the RE sector, and prior to joining H.I.G. he was in charge of the Spanish investment activities of Stam Europe, RE Fund Manager and AM.
Prior to joining Stam Europe, he was the Development and Commercial Director of the French Developer Nexity in Spain for 7 years. He began his career with CBRE handling different roles.Pedro holds a diploma of Estates Management from the Alcalá de Henares University and is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS). He also serves on a number of boards. Pedro speaks Spanish, English & French.
Ms Perez Liz, based in Madrid, is the Managing Director of Kennedy Wilson Spain and has almost 20 years of investment banking, real estate and capital markets experience throughout Spain and the rest of Europe. Prior to joining Kennedy Wilson, she was a Managing Director of Banco Santander’s restructuring unit for medium size corporates, and had previously played different roles at PwC, and Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan in London . Over her career, Ms Perez has intervened in the completion of more than 25bn in European real-estate related transactions, including equity, direct lending, mezzanine, securitisation, and restructuring work.
Daniel Losantos is the Chief Executive Officer at NEINVER - a leading pan-european development, asset management and investment management company. The group has operations in France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal and Spain with well over € 2 Billion in Assets under Management. Daniel is an Industrial Engineer by ICAI (Universidad Pontificia de Comillas) and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School. In the past Daniel has worked in A&G as Junior and Senior Client Relationship Officer, joined NEINVER in 2011 as Head of Business Development, later became Managing Director and has recently been appointed CEO for the Group.
María is currently directing the GRI Club for the Spanish market. Prior to this, she directed the GRI meetings in Italy (2015) and Central and Eastern Europe, and collaborated in the British and Indian Real Estate markets. She has developed an extensive network in the sector.
She holds a BA in History, a MSc in Physical Anthropology, doing her Master Thesis at the University of Cambridge, and has an extensive background in International Archaeology projects in Spain, Jordan, UK, Italy and France. In addition to these countries, she has lived in the US, Brazil and Chile, being completely fluent in Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and English.
She currently takes part in several Human Rights projects related to Crimes against humanity and Conflict resolution.
